Why Choose Us?

We are San Antonio's first and only woman focused Internal Medicine Clinic. We recognizes that women have unique healthcare needs that require special focus, and for that reason we welcome you to Women’s Comprehensive Clinic for Internal Medicine.

We are not a patient mill. Our principles are based on quality over quantity. We take the time to know each one of our patients.  Our wait times are short, typically less than 15 minutes and same day appointments are easy to obtain.

How can we do this?  We unlike other medical offices have choosen to limit our total patient panels. The average US patient panel size that a single primary doctor is responsible for is approximately 2,500 - 3,000 patients. This typically insures a steady flow of patients to fill 15 minute appointment slots throughout the day. For an established doctor this translates into anywhere from 30 to 40 patients seen per day.

We have chosen a far different approach. We see an average of 15 patients per day and have limited our panel size to a fraction of other offices. We value are core principle and know our patients appreciate our comprehensive attention.  We are able to sustain this business model by supplementing our revenue through our wellness, weightloss, aesthetic options and Women's IM VIP Club.

Thank you very much for your interest in Women’s Comprehensive Clinic for Internal Medicine office of Dr. Rosemary Castoreno MD.  As of September 2015, we have temporarily reached capacity and cannot accept new patients. Our primary care panel is currently closed.  However we continue to have appointments available for our weight loss program, general physicals with out need for PCP, and second opinion consultations. If you would like to be placed on our waiting list to be contacted once opening become available please complete form below.
